The Reason

My whole life I've been told I should 'be on tv' or 'be a standup comedian'..... I never was really into either of those.  I mean I knew I made people laugh, I knew I was always a big hit at parties and events, and while working in tv and radio years ago, I knew I was the go to to entertain people.  Just like standing up in front of a class to do a presentation, I have always let my insecurities get the best of me.

Then I semi-grew up.  At the young age of 28 I was approached with an opportunity.  An opportunity to show the real me, Katy.  Not just the fun girl who goes out and gets wasted and does crazy things.  But also the hard working girl who will give a hand to any friend in need, and will try to take the youngin' industry girls under my wing and show them the right path.  The girl who was in a very dark place for a long time, just doing things to damage myself in every way possible.

Here I am today.... Partying often, but at the same time I spend a lot of time with my fiancé and 2 pups on the couch watching Law & Order, I take pride in my job as a server and service trainer, I am always there for my friends and still do the girl date nights and go out for just some girl chat and a nice dinner.  I work out regularly, and do more laundry than anyone you will ever meet.  I'm a neat freak, and if I'm not organized, I panic.  And I'm very very good with my money, checking my bank account daily, and haven't been late on a bill in probably 6 years with a credit score of 780!
