The Schumachers

It was a lovely Sunday evening..... The Bears played during the day.... KRP and friends were out and about in lovely Chicago.   We did a little bar hopping action, and decided to end our night at a place KRP will call 'Downstairs'.  It's a hot spot in the industry on Sundays.  I worked at another venue that was owned by the same people as 'Downstairs', so the plan was to be on my best behavior, yeah didn't go down like that.

So we get after it, hard.... Shots are flowing, some dance floor thrusting action, and clothing became optional at one point.   And then I wake up on Monday morning, ouch!  I get an email from my manager saying that he has reason to believe I stole someone's purse from the club.  What?!?!?! I respond immediately and say I have no idea what he's talking about, why would I steal a purse?  Especially from a girl I work with!!!!!!!  He then explains that there is a picture of me, giving a thumbs up, holding the 'stolen' purse.  Shit, wait, did I steal a purse?  Where did I put it if I stole it.  I start to freak out!  I crawl, literally, crawl out of bed.  I stumble around my apartment, and then right by the front door I see a random purse.  Wait, it's sitting next to my purse.  So not only did I steal a purse, but I also made sure I grabbed mine.  Holy shit.  What do I do?  Will I get fired if I tell them I have it?  Why did I take it?

I contact the girl and explain that I'm not sure how I have it, but it wasn't intentional, and I will meet up with her to return it ASAP.  I decided I should take a gander at what she has going on inside the purse before its returned.  Just like out of a movie..... It's filled with bills.  $20's, $1's, 50's, and a lot of all of them.  Wtf, what is this girl into?  Does she strip on the side?  Is she a drug dealer?  Or did she just do really, really well at work?

So I meet up with her, give her the 'stolen' purse, went to work the next day with my head down in confusion and shame.  I was then approached by my manager with a picture of me, thumb up, stolen purse in other hand.
